Rich Weidrick

Richard A. Weidrick, CPA/PFS

A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Rich is the firm’s Managing Partner and has over twenty-five years of accounting, tax and banking experience. He consults frequently on business valuation, financing and acquisitions, and he leads the firm’s financial services unit.

Rich, is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the OhioSociety of Certified Public Accountants. He holds the AICPA’s Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) Credential, which is granted exclusively to CPAs who have the powerful combination of extensive tax expertise and comprehensive knowledge of all areas of financial planning.

Mike Livesay

Michael T. Livesay, CPA/PFS

In his role as Tax Partner, Mike brings over three decades of tax and business accounting experience. He is responsible for all phases of client service and consulting in tax compliance for both individuals and businesses. His consulting experience includes tax research and planning for all manners of complex transactions, including the purchase and sale of businesses as well as estate and business succession planning.

Before he co-founded Weidrick Livesay & Company in 1997, Mike worked for six years for two large, regional CPA firms. He also served for ten years in the Ohio Army National Guard in various roles, including armored crewman, tank commander, armor officer, and executive officer.

Mike is licensed by the Ohio Department of Insurance to advise on and sell annuities, as well as life, health, disability, and long‐term care insurance. He is a University of Akron graduate and an active member of various business and professional associations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also holds the AICPA’s highly regarded Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) Credential.

Carol A. Mitchell, CPA

With over 30 years of accounting and auditing experience, Carol is responsible for all phases of service for clients ranging from small local businesses to large multi-scale enterprises. Consulting services include research of accounting and financial statement presentation issues, training of accounting staff, implementation and testing of accounting controls and assisting clients with various accounting software. She has developed specialized knowledge in the construction and manufacturing industries and is also in charge of the firm’s quality control and continuing education programs.

Carol is a University of Akron graduate and an active member in various business and professional associations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Diane Burge

Diane M. Burge, CPA

As Partner in charge of Health Care Services, Diane joined the firm in 2001. She has extensive experience working with professionals to develop and implement financial strategies that positively impact their businesses and individual financial well being. She has years of know-how and understanding in what needs to be done from top to bottom to run a medical practice efficiently and utilizes her experience to evaluate and negotiate practice transitions and hospital-based relationships.

Diane is an active member in a number of industry associations, including the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Society of Accountants and the Medical Group Management Association.

Jay Wynne

James A. Wynne, CPA

James (Jay) is a certified public accountant with nearly 30 years of experience in industry and financial services. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University, he served with the U.S. Army in the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Following his service, he worked as an Accountant and Division Controller at a publicly-traded automotive supplier based in Northeast Ohio. During that time, he was involved with financial reporting, strategic business planning, budgeting, and operations support for three different manufacturing facilities.

Jay began working in financial services at Merrill Lynch in 2000. In 2009 he became an independent advisor and joined Summit Wealth Management, LLC., in 2019. His focus is to work with clients to implement an investment plan that fits their objectives, risk tolerance, time horizon, and overall financial situation. As part of the investment management process, he enjoys tracking the economy, individual business sectors, and specific companies daily.

Jay is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Becky Kaminchak

Becky Kaminchak, CPA

With more than 30 years in public accounting, Becky has experience with small, mid-sized, and larger organizations in various industries, including medical practices, distributors, manufacturers, construction contractors, restaurants, and professional service organizations. She applies her extensive knowledge of diverse industries and business structures to help owners of closely-held businesses reach their goals. She has worked with clients on a variety of accounting packages including QuickBooks, QBO, Compeat and Sage.

Becky is involved with her clients on an ongoing basis in a consultative and advisory role providing accounting services, compilations, reviews, financing assistance, payroll services, tax planning, and general business advice. She is passionate about delivering superior client service that adds value.

Becky is a graduate of Kent State University and is a long-standing member of the Ohio Society of CPAs.

Michelle Salvaggio, CPA

Michelle Salvaggio, CPA

Michelle is part of the tax department at Weidrick & Livesay Company. She provides tax research, personal and business tax compliance, and planning services to various closely held companies. Although Michelle currently concentrates on the restaurant industry, she has worked with several other sectors over her more than 30-year career. Her restaurant industry experience includes consulting, financial statement compilations, payroll taxes, software setup, and accounting financial record design.

Michelle graduated from Marietta College and is a member of AICPA and the OSCPA.

Pamela Williams

Pamela S. Williams

Pam joined Weidrick Livesay & Company in 2011 bringing 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing and tax. She assists clients with their accounting, payroll, and financial statement presentation. She is a knowledgable user of various accounting software systems including QuickBooks and Sage. In addition, Pam has extensive experience in tax planning and compliance for individuals, businesses, and tax-exempt organizations.

Pam is a graduate of Edinboro University.

Rachel Fender

Rachel Fender
